About Mikel Pérez
I was born in Barakaldo, at the north of Spain, 17 years ago. I have been interesed in music since child, and I started learning basic theory of music with 5 years. I loved playing melodies with a Casio keyboard.

In 2003 I started being interested at electronic music and I bought my first electronic music CD. I tried mixing and producing with software. A year later I bought my first DJ equipment. Melodic sounds defined me, I used to mix hardtrance and uplifting trance tunes, but I have been evoluting the sound and improving myself a lot since then. I have been member of some Spanish music colectives and I have had a digital radio program.

Actually I..m producing (this year I started more seriously) and mixing (with the name of "Mikel Pérez") Progressive-Trance and Progressive-House sounds. I love the strange progressive tunes, I think that if a track is original and strange, must be listened. I..m influenced by people like James Holden, Alex Stealthy, Micah Lukasewich, Markus Schulz, Perry O..Neil, Hawk... (and more people). At now maybe I..m preparing a new musical project...
